The lords of sludge metal return and what do you know? It's in the same thick, ultra heavy fashion they've always been known for. Really there are no huge changes on this album and the fans don't want any. What you get with Life's Blood is another nasty, punishing release which includes the gravely yet strangely melodic vocals the band are known for. Their brand of switching off from slow doomy riffing to practically thrashing just sets this band apart. The mix of anger and depression in both the lyrics and music makes for a totally unique feel. Keep up the good work.
